Link Finance, LLC (Link Finance) has adopted the following policy regarding how the information you share with Link Finance is used and maintained. The privacy policy applies to individuals who are current and former clients of Link Finance. The primary reason we collect, use and share personal information is to serve you and comply with federal and state law. Link Finance does not sell or share personal information with for the purpose of marketing products or services. 

 

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION PROVIDED TO US 

Link Finance and its affiliates collect only relevant nonpublic personal information about you, as allowed or required by law, so our product works as intended, we can provide customer service, and collect funds due to us. This information may include: 

  • Information we receive from you on agreements or other forms, such as name, address and telephone number, insurance company, policy numbers 
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others, such as your account balance and payment history. 
  • A third-party service handles payments and will receive payment information.  
  • To access certain features of our website, you may be required to create a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. This is covered in our Terms of Use. 

  

SHARING OF INFORMATION BETWEEN LINK FINANCE AFFILIATES 

Currently, no information collected through applications and forms or information relating to your transactions and experiences with us is being shared among Link Finance affiliates except in the instance where necessary for the product to work as intended. In that case we may disclose information such as your name, address, policy numbers, account balance, payment history and account status. 

  

SHARING OF INFORMATION IN OTHER CIRCUMSTANES 

As permitted by law, we may disclose some or all of the information described above with non‐Link Finance companies and individuals, such as: 

  • Your insurance company (ies) and agent(s), as permitted or required by applicable federal and state laws. 
  • We may disclose certain information to third parties, such attorneys or collection agencies, in regard to the collection of a debt owed to us. 
  • We may disclose certain information as requested by regulatory authorities. 

 

We may disclose the following types of nonpublic, personal information about you: Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others, such as your name address, account balance, payment history and parties to transactions. 

 

PROTECTING CONFIDENTIALITY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION 

LINK FINANCE restricts access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic, personal information.

We employ reasonable measures to safeguard your information through both physical and electronic means aimed at enhancing the security of the data we handle. However, given the inherent limitations of electronic transmission and storage, we cannot provide absolute assurances regarding the security or privacy of your information.

Our platform is hosted in the United States and is intended for use by individuals within the state of Massachusetts. Should you choose to access our platform from another region other than the state of Massachusetts, USA, you will subject to differing data collection and usage laws, please be aware that by doing so, you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to Massachusetts, USA and Link Finance affiliates for storage and processing. Additionally, in connection with data storage, processing, and operational requirements, we may transfer your data from Massachusetts, USA to other US states and other countries or regions.
